Find your Unique Student Identifier

A Unique Student Identifier is also called a USI.

A USI is a number that identifies you when you study at TAFE.

You may already have a USI if you studied before.

Some courses are taught at a TAFE campus.

Check which choices are available for your course.

Check how much the course costs

Look at the course page to find out how much you may need to pay.

Some people can pay a lower fee or may not need to pay a fee.

Get your documents ready

Some courses ask you to prove your identity or show what you studied before.

Keep the documents together so they are ready when you apply.

Enrolment open

Enrolment open means you can sign up for the course now.

You will need to follow the enrolment steps and arrange payment.

Application required means TAFE needs to check that the course is right for you.

Register your interest

Register your interest means you tell TAFE that you want to study the course.

TAFE may contact you to talk about the course before you can apply.

Waitlist open

Waitlist open means the course is full at the moment.

You can join the waiting list.

TAFE will contact you if a place becomes available.

Complete the application

Answer each question in the application.

Add any documents that TAFE asks for.

Check your answers before you submit the application.

Wait for TAFE to contact you

TAFE may send you an email, call you or send you a message.

Check your messages so you do not miss important information.

Accept your place and enrol

TAFE will tell you if you can join the course.

Follow the instructions to accept your place, enrol and arrange payment.

Ask TAFE for help if you do not understand the instructions.
